|I am in need of new road tires for my Yeti and I do not know if I should get 700x20 or 700x23 any sugestions?

|23s are relatively "standard" for performance oriented riding- training rides, etc... 20s you probably would not want for everyday riding.|

|I love my Michelin Axial Pro's... now Pro Race which I believe were a 20 or just slightly larger. If you do a lot of descending/wet weather riding with some racing these are great tires.
The other alternative for about half the price is to go to the "training" specific tires companies like Specialized and Conti have with the flat protection and what not. But personally I prefer the kevlar bead (some of them are still steel) and I don't notice a huge reduction in flats between them. However, if you ride on roads where your tires get a lot of small cuts the harder rubber on these tires helps to prevent/minimize it but at the cost of cornering.
