Hello I am new to road biking and looking for good area to ride in the Castle Rock Colorado area.
Any suggestions?

The Elephant Rock goes right through town every year. You could find a route map and take your pick. A good ride is to head south into the Black Forest. Another good ride that you'll have to try is going up Wolfensberger hill to the west of the I25. Attached is a route map from this year's ride.

Includes elevation profiles as well. Great ride and area although some of the roads don't have much of a shoulder, if any, and can be busy, particularly weekends. Beautiful area though.

and I believe that south of Castle Rock bikes are allowed on some of I25. That whole area has great roads for cycling.
