If you live in the DC area, and are looking for a nice ride, consider the Reston Bike Club's century ride on Sunday:

The weather is forecast to be great (for a change). This is a nice ride. I do it every year. In fact, my wife and I did it the day before we got married three years ago. the century is fairly hilly in spots, the metric less so. Good scenery and roads and easy to access from the beltway or I-66.

I'll be there, have done this ride 2 other times, nice, challenging century. Weather does look good, may even be a bit chilly in the morning!
Yeah, imagine that ...pmf1

I'm sitting here kinda dreading the commute home. 19 miles from DC to Vienna. Mostly uphill, slight headwind and heat index of over 100 degrees.

I've commuted the last 3 days in a row. A change in the weather sure will be great.

I remember when they used to do this century in late September and it was often cold in the morning (some years, cold all day).
