Just picked up my new Seven Alaris Ti from the guys down in MA. I followed their recommendations for geometry and fit and two weeks later I had my new frame. My first thoughts once putting it together was "damn that's a #@$&*ing huge frame". 65cm ST/64.5cm TT. The head tube is so big that the only fork that would fit it was the Wound-up. So I transferred all the parts from my Caad 5 and I must say "wow what a difference". Now I know why there are custom framebuilders. The thing fits like a glove. I travelled down to the factory to pick it up and I can't say enough good things about the folks at Seven. In the fitting process they ask all the right questions so that they get it right the first time. Hat's off to everyone in Watertown!

Having a bike that fits is a great feeling! I'm a tall guy too and appreciate what you have there. It's a great looking bike! Ride many miles in good health, and I hope I can draft you someday!
Very Cool...spluti

The last frame I saw that big was Bill Waltons. Are you that tall? It's great to see a plan come together, I'm sure the people at Seven are just as pleased as you are.

I'm not that tall. I'm 6"8" and although I can ride a much smaller frame, the folks at Seven are all about the most efficient and comfortable ride.

Nice bike. Put on some clown shoes and a red nose, and you can probably find a nice career with Ringling Bros.

Glad it fits you, though.
THAT WAS PRETTY ROUGH!!bicycle268

Wow! Nice but that's one very tall frame! I'm just 5'7"
and that thing dwarfs me and my tiny little bike! Cool
finish.
beauty! everybody will have 'head tube envy'! nmJS Haiku Shop

Actually, I'm pretty envious. I'm 6'3" and my current frame (bough used) is really starting to feel much to small as I do longer and longer rides. The high stem I put on does not solve the problem, and looks even odder than your "giraffe frame".

I too was on a this frame that was beginning to feel to small (63ST/59.5TT). Although the Seven might look a little strange I must admit that it feels right. My top tube is now 64.5 and my bar height is right without having a crazy stem angle and lots of seatpost. I certainly recomend going custom if you are hard to fit.

I thought my headtube was the long!! Seven made my Axiom two years ago and my enthusiasm for cycling took a jump up that has not quit. They know how to design for your preferences and size. I'm a shorty, only 6'6" so my frame was a virtual 64cm (5% TT slope) with 61.5TT. Good luck with your new ride!
