Hi, I am leaving shortly to the Corvette Show in Carlisle Pennsyvania. I am bringing my road bike. Can any one reccommend bike paths, rail trails, bike routes etc. I am decent at hills but not great. Flat or moderate hill routes are preferred.Thank you all in advance for your help.
You're in luck, my friend!KG 361

There are miles of country roads to be explored outside of Carlisle. Here is a link to the Harrisburg bike club. They have rides starting in Carlisle. They used to start from what was called the MJ Carlisle mall, but may be called something different now. One of the ride leaders is Al Padilla. Some are kick-ass rides @ 20+ mph avg, others more tame. Organized rides are at least Tues and Thurs evenings @ 6pm. There may be more. Here's the link:

It is a shame that you don't want hills . . .ms

There is a great climb about 5 miles north of Carlisle on route 74.

Last summer I met my wife at my daughter's summer camp near Belleville, Pa. I drove to Carlisle from Baltimore, left my car near Dickinson College and headed north on 74 (then went through towns such as Port Royal and Lewistown before I made it to my destination). The climb, which I would estimate to be about 1,000 feet, started 5 or 6 miles north of Carlisle -- it was the highlight (pardon the pun) of the ride.
That's the one. nmKG 361
