stress marks on carbon fiber forkcollegiateryder

my carbon fork has a millimeter thick white line about 1 centimeter in length on the front of the left leg/blade. i assume its a stress mark. the mark is not a crack but looks more like what you get when you bend cheap plastic and it leaves those white lines along the crease, but its not nearly that extreme looking. the fork is still perfectly stiff and does not flex at all. the mark has not gotten worse since it first appeared.

is this soemthing i should have checked out?

also, i have a special type of steel composite frame material, SLX i beleive, and i would like to know if it rusts as easily as regular steel and if so can you reccomend any frame protector sprays or waxes?
Get it checked out....biknben

Have someone in the know take a look at it. If you have noticed it getting worse than I'd say this fork has issues.

A product called "Frame Saver" can be used to protect the inside of steel frames.
