|removing / installing STI levers?||off roadie|

|I was gonna install a new stem / bar combo tonight. Hoping to get it done before a group ride tommorow. So I pull of the old tape and start poking around under the brake hoods and behind the levers, and realize I have NO idea how to loosen / move the lever, let alone get this thing off the bars. Last time I removed some road levers, bikes had downtube shifters and 5 non-indexed speeds. Give me MTB hydraulics, and I can lick them, but these STI buggers (rx100) have got me stimied.
Park tool has nothing to say that I can find. Any site that can help me out? I'm really hoping it does NOT involve pulling all the cables out through the housing and out of the levers, because if it does, I'm riding on tapless bars tommorow. Besides, I just adjusted my shifting.

|on the sides just where the plastic meets the rubber of the hood, you'll notice a notch that leads right to the alan screw. I can't remember if it's a 3, 4, or 5, but it's pretty easy to find the bold once you look at the side of the brake hoods.|

|On the outside of the brake lever, there is a small notch between the rubber and the body of the lever, use a 5mm hex wrench to loosen it.|

|Just loosen enough to slide the levers off.No need to even mess with cables ,and the derailer/brake adjustment are not affected.|| |
