Problems with Polar Power Output SensorRCC
Aug 20, 2003 10:50 AM
After replacing the battery, there is no readings on the power sensor. When the battery is replace there is flashing lights on the power meter. If I hold the battery cover, making preasure with my hand (but nos closing it), the power meter works but if I close the battery cover it does not work. I have had similar problems with other power meter. Does anybody has experience the same problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? I have tried Polar helpdesk but they are useless.
Thanks,
RC.

No answers for you - but my polar power meter recently stuffed up too. It now reads at least double the power it should. I'm definitely no Sean Eddie, but if everything you read is true, it seems I can maintain over 700 watts and bursts up to 2200 watts. I know it's not right. Normally it should be about 200-300 watts if going at a moderate pace.
Haven't a clue how to fix it.
