need help comparing top tubes; re: seat angles...dawgcatchr

I am trying to compare two frames which have different seat angles. I know that for every .5 degree difference in seat angle, the effective top tube changes by .6cm. For example, say I have 2 frames-one with a 74.0 degree seat tube and one with a 73.5 degree, and each frame has a 55.0 top tube. When comparing the two, does this make the effective top tube of the 73.5 degree frame 54.4cm? Or is it the other way around?
