200km and 7500ft of elevation, there was definitely much more hills than on the century version.

conclusion of the day: always check that the alarm clock works, riding alone is boring. I was slow and not motivated.

The full ride report is on

I haven't seen a post from you in awhile. I know that you decided not to do P-B-P, but did you go to France this summer? If so, any pictures?
Was on vacation (took sooooo many pictures)PeterRider

Didn't go to PBP, it was a bit expensive for a bike ride in a place that I already know. Of course, I have done Paris<->Brest only by train and never on a bike, but I know quite a bit that region. Plus, I was really tired after the 600km in Colorado, there is no way I could have done twice as long as that. We'll see with BMB next year :-)

So, in July I visited a good number of western national parks with my girlfriend. We took many pictures, most of which are not cycling-related, but if you want to look at them they are on

notwithstanding the car problems. I have been to a lot of places that you visited, but not in one epic trip.
