Someone was recently asking about good quality bikes for kids, and I suggested rolling your own. This past weekend I got a chance to take some photos, so here are the bikes belonging to my 14-year-old (Diamondback)...

Thanks for the input. I looked at a few WS models which would work but were a bit pricey. I ended up settling on a Specialized Dolce WS for my 9 yr old and a Giant OCR2 for my 11 year old. Both bikes are compact geometry allowing some room to grow in the future. I'm hoping to get 2-3 years out of each then move the 9yr old to the Giant.

Thanks again
