|Paging Juanmoretime & others: best deals on FSA cranks & BBs||BergMann|

|A little while back Juanmoretime mentioned he'd found the FSA Platinum Ti ISIS BB for $79. Care to share where this was Juan? Does anyone else know?
Also, what's the best deal people have found on FSA Team Issue carbon cranks (10 speed) and where?
Final geek-interest query: anyone had these two parts on the scale? Care to share actual weights?

|Referring to the octalink 9 speed version (surely it's the same as the ISIS/10 speed): 597g with the included aluminum BB axel bolts/washers/extraction caps. 575g without this hardware. Both weights including chainrings and chainrings bolts. |
So, it's a lot heavier than they claim, and, by my scale, the cranks are just 3g better than D/A not counting the BB axel bolts. By far the most weight savings came from FSA's alu axel bolts as opposed to the steel D/A ones. Kinda ironic.
Maybe I should sue FSA for all the races I haven't won since installing them. :-)
I think someone recently said wise cycle buys is the place to go cause they'll even match buy-it-now prices on ebay. I could be mistaken on that.

|AllUpHill was correct. Wisecyclebuys matched the BUYITNOW from Ebay for $259 for the Team Issue. It's the same place I bought my bottom bracket for $79 and they ship free. The ISIS bottom bracket is extremely smooth. I really do like the crank and bottom bracket set up, plus it looks great.|

|Who did you quote for the $79 price match? I ran a search of past/present Ebay auctions for FSA BBs and didn't find any Platinum Pro TIs listed.|| |
