|30 minute refueling after workout - personal experiences||Fez|

|I totally agree with the idea of refueling after workouts.
From personal experience, it works. If I refuel after the ride, the next day I feel much stronger.
But I find that my appetite is totally supressed after a workout and I actually struggle to eat. Anyone else feel the same thing?

|I try to drink something right after a ride like OJ and whey protein or something similar. Possibly a piece of fruit, too. It isn't until a couple of hrs later that I get REALLY hungry, then it's head to the all-you-can-eat buffets! =)|

|Geez, I wish I could stop myself from eating after a ride. If it's more than two and a half hours or a short really hard workout, I could eat a horse. First, protein shake. Then shower. Then I eat and eat and eat. Then sleep. I also rarely eat on a ride which may be a factor. If it's over three hours maybe, but not always.
And it definitely helps with recovery. I find thirty minutes to be a little on the short side, I usually eat within an hour.
|Don't you mean, SUPPRESSED? =)||KG 361|

|Anyway, like you, I get ravenaously hungry in 1-2 hrs. Buffets tremble in fear when they see me coming......|
