Anybody ridden these babies and care to comment. Worth getting, other than for the looks?

I haven't ridden them but I don't think there would be any noticable difference at all. The front wheel is 10 grams lighter and the rear is 30 grams lighter if I recall. This is accomplished by lighter skewers so there really isn't much difference weight wise and you wouldn't notice this at all on the bike. The only real difference then is the looks. The silver rims and spokes + the one yellow spoke are not worth the extra $400 in my opinion.

You can get Ksyrium SL's for under $600 then buy Zipp Ti skewers for $50 and have almost the same wheelset minus the yellow spoke.

Disclaimer: I realize Mavic OP rims laced with DA hubs are the greatest wheels in the world according to some, but the original post was only inquiring about the TDF Ksyrium wheelset.

That's an awesome deal. I got mine from bicycledoctor.net for a little more than that but not much.
What do the Zipp Ti skewers weigh? Lighter than Salsa? (nm)BergMann
