Weight problem??
I am a big guy about 250 lb. of muscle.
When I peddle hard on my steel bike, the gears seem to shift by it self. Is steel (f.Mosser) to soft ore do you think my 10 year old campy has don its time?
If your 250lbs of muscle...the bull

whats your total weight then? 600 lbs? :)
Is the drive train adjusted correctly.
Sounds like the cassette is worn out to me.
Try replacing the chain and cassette before the frame.

Put a bit of grease under the bottom bracket where the cables make contact with the shell.

Your power strokes are causing the rear derailler cable to ratchet, and shift. The grease should allow this to ease a bit, hopefully solving the problem.
