If so, can you pop the visor off for road riding? It looks like it can be popped off, but I don't want to force it (anything is removable with the right amount of force).

A riding buddy of mine has one and he has no visor on it, so I assume it comes off. Now if you can get it back on is another story...

This is a great MTB helmet. The design if the straps has come a long way over the past Giro's I've owned. The visor is easy to position and remove/replace. You just snap the visor tabs into the holes and that's it. The fit is excellent and it cools well even at MTB climbing speeds.

The shape sure isn't what you typically see on the road though. Much more like a rounded skate helmet shape. They cost a bunch at around $159 MSRP, but wholesale is about $102. I'll be nice and not tell how low the bike shop employee purchase cost is. ;->
