I have a set of profile carbon strykes and want to maintain the abiity to pull the aeros off when I want to.

I was wondering if it was possible to mount them on a carbon fibre handlebar without destroying the handlebar.
I have the carbon strykesbicycle268

and I also run Kestrel bars. Although there's no official word against it, I'd steer clear of using those on the Kestrel bars or any other cf bars. With Easton's carbon bars, there's OFFICIAL warnings against it.

I use the Syntace aerobars on a set of Carbon Modolo Curvissima handlebars.

The part where the aero bar attaches if very beefy. I have taken then on and off at least one dozen times without a hitch.
I put a layer of Velox rim tape around the bar to protect the surface.

These bars came without any warning.

So, it is the Velox tape that saves your 'bar from damage?

I guess what I meant to say is, "It is the Velox tape and nothing special about your Aerobars?"
