Right in the middle of the state at the very top edge of that purple looking band is where I live and the weather here is amazing!

Looks like your little storm down there has sucked all the bad weather and all the humidity away from my neck of the woods... I am going riding, and I am gonna love it!

Hop in the car and come up to Gainesville and you can ride with me.

Cheers!

The weather is great here in Jacksonville (NE corner of the state), albeit a bit on the windy side.

Come on up to Jax and ride. We're doing bridges tonight -- the Florida version of a hill workout :-)

I used to do those when I lived over in Palm Coast! We used to ride the Granda Bridge in Ormond Beach like 10 to 15 times in a row to get some climbing in. Those were the days.

Granada Bridge is on the MS150 routeheckman

as part of the first day century option. It's a cruel joke for the flatlanders not used to hills, after 80 or so miles. Hearing the moaning and groaning from the other riders is worth the trip over the bridge.

We go over the Acosta bridge here in Jax. Like you, it's basically how many times can you go over and back before you either can't go any more, or until you are running out of sufficient daylight to make it home.

Enjoy your ride tonight.

I lived in Pensacola and got sick of the trainer. Now I am in Albuquerque and it is sunny 300 days a year. No humidity anymore either!!

we're riding in 102 degrees at 7 p.m.

I don't remember it that way in previous years, do you? Seems that by the time I drive down the hill, hang out and leave for a ride at that time, it used to be in the 90s.

Maybe the Sun is getting closer.
maybe take the mtn bike out and splash thru some sandpuddles..maximum15
