My faith in mankind is restored!! I just recieved this reply from the winning bidder:
"The bike was indeed stolen. The ebay seller was selling it on behalf of a family friend - described to me as a young man in his early 20's. I encouraged the seller to check into the origin of the bike and provided him some info on the sizing that made him suspicious that the bike didn't belong to the young "owner". The seller made some inquiries and was able to determine it was stolen (possibly more than once). I'm told that it is now in the possession of the Ft. Worth Police Dept. Some legitimate owner will be getting his or her bike back soon.

I am glad I was part of seeing justice being served. After I posted the thread I got 3 emails from the seller, saying how could I accuse him of selling stolen goods and that he was getting phone calls and emails from people about the bike being stolen. I just referred him to the original thread on this site and he left me alone.
