Don't ask me what the differences are...but I got a quote from Ciclosport on a 04 C50 with 04 full carbon record for 5600 Euro.

Ouch!!!!!!

Nice bike though! Here's the picture they sent me....
you could always put 105 on it to keep it reasonable! (nm)bicycle268

Exage?sievers11

Even if you put the biopaced wonder group exage on there is would still be outragous, but I thinki it might be outragous for two reasons. The price and the tasty contradiction of components to frame.
that would make a kickarse fixie if horizontal fork on back (nm)JS Haiku Shop

I think the chainstays are the same as the C-40 B-Stay HP -- the HP denoting the ugly looking chainstay. Sometimes Colnago doea stuff that look cool, but make no sense (like the seat tube on the Bititan).

5600 euros! Christ, I paid half that for the C-40 B-Stay I bought less than 3 years ago.
according to this site the right stay is larger than the C-40ColnagoFE

I turn 50 next year, Colnago turns 50 next year, how can I possibly thumb my nose in the face of such heady cosmic omens? it's on my "must have" list for 2004.
IUsing that logic--I turn 40 in 2 years...ColnagoFE

The previous model was the C-"40" and my wife will likely not let me buy another bike till I'm "50" which is the model # of the new bike! Hey! I think that's the ticket!

I actually presented that to my lovely life-companion, saying something like "guess what, Colnago has the same big birthday next year that I have." She liked the idea, I think women appreciate tradition. We need to find other ways to exploit that!
Not satisfy with the look of C50kai-ming

From the picture, the middle of top tube and down tube seems to be thicker which make the down tube at the connection to the BB lug looks thin where there will be high stress. That looks odd from engineering sense. If I were Ernesto, I would redesign the BB lug.
