Do any of you give your bikes a personalised "name", like a pet? If so, what?

I even replaced the ugly Trek factory white paint job with a custom red-purple-black fade with a silver LeMondster decal on the top tube. Now I'm spiritually one with my bike:)-

Humma Hah. Custom decal applied to the cruiser's chainguard by CyclArt. It's the bike's name, not mine.

I saw the picture you posted of it in the wayback, and thought it was actually the name of a real model. Nice decal work....authentic looking... You had me thinking something (else) was wrong with my brain...

... the only one of its kind. It is unique ... does not even ATTEMPT to be an authentic restoration, and it is a considerably better bike now than the day I bought it.. I'm the original owner, modified it into a MTB before Fisher and Breeze coined the term, and to call it what it used to be, a Typhoon, would be just WRONG!

I think I'm going to start calling my MT bike "Killer" because it keeps throwing me over it's handle bars and breaking my bones.

my 3 year old quickly dubbed my bike "little blue" when it arrived in January, as she has been calling my truck "big blue" for about a year.

the color coordination was *NOT* planned

My boss actually gave it that name, since all the parts were bought off eBay. There was a stretch where a different part showed up everyday....
