Puzzled - what to domoneyman

I bought these shoes from Sierra Trading Post for $90, size 45. Smokin' deal, right? If I had Time pedals, it would be much better, but I don't. I have Look pedals, and these Time shoes do not support Look pedals without a special wedge adapter that is, apparently, no longer available (according to the good folks at Time).

Possible solutions to the problem include: Return the shoes to Sierra Trading Post; Shell out another $100 - $150 for Time pedals; Sell the Time shoes and buy something else; Trade the Time shoes for Sidis, or something comparable.

This may not seem like a big deal to you, but it has really got me puzzled, and for some reason or another I can't make up my mind. Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Buy Time pedals, they're the best, if you don't mind weight (nm)TJeanloz

Since Time has come out with a new Impact model, earler Time Mag and Criterium pedals should be available for less than $50.
Read the reviews on Time pedals just to be sure they're what you can use. If those shoes fit you, they, along with the pedals, should last you many years.
Return the Times and get the Northwave Silverados. nmUprwstsdr

i won a set of brand new, still in the plastic bag, Time IMPACT S pedals on ebay for $83.00 a couple of weeks ago. i used 'old style' Time pedals for about 10 years before switching and the new ones are great.

look for auctions by o2bikes.com. prompt shipping and as advertised.

here's a link they have several for sale right now:

wow, J2 bought those also from STP and uses time pedals. he's fairly happy, but mentioned that they get a bit uncomfy yet after a couple hours. maybe it's "break in".

one thing's for sure: if you're keeping them, ya better start wearing them now. those shoes are so freakin' bright that i can see J2's feet comin' a mile before i can see the rest. ouch!!!
