Shoulder Pain -Please Helpupandcomer

I've been getting a sharp shoulder pain on my left side lately while riding. Actually, it's been going on for about a year now. I feel like the handle bar is twisted to the left making for a shorter distance to the bar on my left side. It feels like my left arm is cramped. I have checked both my hoods and the stem alignment and they check out OK. Also, when I look down during pedaling, I've noticed my right leg to be farther away from the top tube than the left one. Again, I've checked my seat alginment and it seems to be good. Can someone offer any suggestions to end my misery. Riding is becoming a lot more difficult with the pain. :(
No point centering everything if your body's off center.dzrider

Years of competitive tennis, football injury, motor cycle accident, bike crashes have left me far from bilaterally symmetrical. As a result I have to fool around with the bars and stem rather a lot to get them to feel right.

I set up my bars and stem and put the bike on a stand. Ride it a while and adjust it again. More riding, more adjusting. I'm willing to turn the stem a few degrees relative to the wheel, put one brake hood (the left) higher up than the other, put the handle bar a few mm off center or anything else that makes me feel better while I'm up there. With time, I get it right and leave it there.
