|I'm pedaling more miles and looking for a new saddle. Fizik Pavie or Poggio, or the Koobi AU Enduro or Xenon. Any help, comments, or other suggestions? I'm 42, male 5'10" 175 and ride 80-100 miles a week.

|I have the Fizik Aliante and it's the most comfy saddle I have ever owned. It's top of the reviews too. Click on the link below.

|I know saddles are supposed to be personal, but this one is so much better than anything I have ridden in 20 years, its amazing. Its ridiculously expensive and I find the carbon railed one limits for and aft adjustment, butt(ha ha)if you can afford it try it. If you dont find it comfortable you will have no trouble selling it on e-bay.|

|Find a shop that will let you try saddles and then try alot of them. It's really the only way to know what will work for you. Everyone's a$$, riding position/preference, type of riding, etc is different. I've tried many and settled on a WTB, but that's me, not you. Trial and error, the ONLY way.|

|Koobi will let you return their saddles, if they don't fit you right. They also have good descriptions on their site for comparing their different models. The Enduro and Silver (same saddle with different cover) are a little wider and softer than the Xenon. If you like a firm saddle, try the Xenon. If you like a saddle with a little give, get the Enduro or Silver. I have both an Enduro and Silver and they're both very comfortable for me, but might be too soft or wide for others. One really nice feature of Koobi saddles is that the rails are positioned so they allow lots of fore/aft adjustment, particular if your frame has a steep seat tube angle. |
For good descriptions and dimensions for Fizik saddles, go to their website, www.fizik.it. You can actually "design" your own Fizik saddle (custom colors) at their site and have it shipped from Italy. It's fun to play around with different designs on their website, even if you don't buy a saddle. You might also consider the new Fizik Vitesse CP saddle, if you like a saddle with more padding and width.

|I have a Koobi AU Enduro on my roadie and absolutely love it. Like Tarwheel said, you can try them and send them back if you don't like them. Ditto on the Enduro being a little wider - I was looking for exactly that. I love that saddle, can and do spend hours on it. The fact that you can try it out and if you don't like, send it back, is a great way of trying it out. The guy at Koobi was very helpful as well, I had talked to him on the phone about various saddles, specific dislikes about other saddles and how his saddles compare. When in doubt, call him up and pick his brain.
All in all, love my Koobi, one of these days I'll get one for my MTB as well.
