I went to wrenchscience and went through their online bike building process. I chose the most expensive components possible just to see how high I could run the tab. It was a Merckx carbon frame with campy record. Once you log out, the link expires. Oh well. It was a fun experiment. I think the bike wound up weighing 15.8 lbs.

Its interesting see what kind of bike you'd never buy even if you won the lottery though!
