How much for Trek 1220w/RSX 14 spd groupo?TNRyder

I'm looking @ a used Trek 1220 (purple) with a complete RSX 14 spd groupo with the exception of R600 crankset. The frame has internal cable routing and an Eastan Program sticker near the BB. It says that it is "ZX" aluminum. It also has a chromoly fork. Anybody have any ideas as to what this bike may be worth?

The bike was cheap to start with. If anything breaks, 7 speed parts are getting hard to find. I always discourage folks from buying bikes with such obsolete components. They often become a money pit, costing more to fix up than buying something more current in the first place.

I was planning on offering between $150 and $200 with the intent of replacing drivetrain if anything breaks. I am pretty new to the whole Roadie scene as I am really a MTN Biker. I am just looking for a road bike to train on as all of the guys who keep beating me are riding road lots. I couldn't even tell you how old this thing is. Maybe early '90s?

If it fits you and if it seems to be in good shape your suggested offer seems reasonable.
