This World Cup classic is always worth a watch. I caught the end of last week's World Cup race HEW on Eurosport and the final break, Ullrich, Celestino, Astarola, Bettini and Rebellin was pure class, holding the pack off during the last 10k.

I like Bettini to win and not having ridden the Giro, he' probably relatively fresh. After that, either Astarola or di Luca, followed by Casagrande. Scarponi could show as well as Casagrande and Garzelli.

Live Eurosport broadcast over here but not sure if OLN will have a feed for the States.

I hate to be a flag waver, but did you see him in the Tour? Climbing and time trialing like a GC man. Few fast men climb as well as he is climbing right now, so if he is smart tactically, he could easily take this race.

Bettini is climbing well too, working for Virenque in the Tour. He's got to be the favorite.
