Assos' FI.13 vs. FI Mille shorts (for endurance race) ?(2 posts)

Assos' FI.13 vs. FI Mille shorts (for endurance race) ?Tahoe Gator

I have a race coming up that will be about 8-9 hours long. I have one coveted pair of Assos FI.13 bib shorts and wasn't thinking about getting another anyway, but note that the new "Mille" short is designated as for "long distance". Wondering if they are more comfortable for long rides or what, or if the FI.13 is still a better choice and that's just how they are marketing the slightly less expensive Mille short. Any comparison advice appreciated.

I have ridden both and prefer the Mille. The pad is a little thicker in the Mille thus making it more comfortable on longer rides. The F1 13 are nice, but I don't think I would buy another pair. Hope this helps.
