|I hope it cools down. How long do these European heat waves usually last? We have 10 days for it to cool down.|

|According to NPR this am, it's expected to last about a week more. So hopefully it'll be cooler when PHP starts for those of you hardy souls who are doing it.|

|I figure that I'll be jet lagged anyway, so 10 PM will seem like 1 PM California time. I'm shooting for Loudeac the first night. Then out to Brest and back. Then maybe to Villaines la Juhel. That's 275, 200, 150, 125 mile days.
I'll be one of the many Davis Bike Club riders wearing a California Republic jersey. #4328
Are you doing it? What's your plan?

I don't like night navigation so 84hr is the best way to minimize night riding. Of cause, I haven't expected it'll be so hot ;)
My plan is to make to Lodeac before midnight, so we might meet there. Second day is Brest and back. If get back early I'd take early sleep and leave early.
Depending on when I get back to Lodeac and how I feel last leg to Paris may drag into 2 days. If I won't feel like riding I'd go from control to control, drink wine, eat cheese, smell roses :)
btw where do you stay?
