If the new Cervelo R2.5 is really that good than why did the CSC team not use them during the entire TDF??? Instead they only used it on specific mountain stages; such as Alpe d'Huez. In fact, an article in the August Issue of Cycle Sport, followed Tyler Hamilton on a training ride in the Alps where he rode his usual Soloist Team bike (Alum frame) and only rode the Carbon R2.5 on Alpe d'Huez. This tells me that the Soloist is a much better "all-round" bike. What do you think? I am looking at getting an R2.5 and I am wondering if I might be too heavy (200lbs) for such a frame?

Thanks!
