Look frame question for Dave Hickey .High Gear

I have a KG281 and it's the best riding frame I ever had. I have a few bux to spend and am thinking of gettig a semi vintage Look. I want one with the newer spacing on the rear triangle..I would hate to spread carbon. What would be the first year with the new spacing and what was the top model in the alum. lug/carbon tube frame? Any idea of what I could pick one up for in a 61 or 62?

Thanks

Any of the LOOK's from 1989 on will work. The older spacing is 126 but there is no problem spreading to 130.
The top models changed almost every year. The in late 80's, the KG96 was top. In the early 90's the KG171 and mid 90's the 271. The double digit KG's (KG86,KG96) were 126 rear spacing. the triple digit KG's are almost all 130 rear. I've seen large older LOOK on ebay and they usually go for a reasonable price.
