Made it to work(5 posts)

Made it to workgildomilo

Well I made it to work with no flat tires today. I avoided the break down lanes and everything as much as possible. I did the 27 miles in about 1.75 hours. The last 6 miles is one big climb and that took me forever with my panniers loaded with crap. Hopefully I will be able to cut my time down to 1.5 hours in a couple of weeks. I also won't have my panniers loaded up as much in the future. Thanks for all the help you guys have given me.

Remember, the first time is always the hardest. It will only get easier from here.

I have my bike in our server room. I figure it's one of the safest places on campus, plus it gets to spend a day relaxing in some extreme A/C, while I spend the day drinking tons of water. Hopefully my shorts are dry by this afternoon when I leave.
