|If that's really all the penalty this guy is facing, that's hard to beleive. Of course the victims can sue, but what do you want to bet that he has a $15,000 limit on his insurance and all his money is in an IRA or something that's beyond the reach of the court? Grrrr...|

|No, its widely reported. What likely is a joke is Jack's honesty in reporting and concern for news stories that matter to me.
He eveidently feels no need to be honest in his actions or respect others needs while off the air, so how can we expect him to do so in front of the camera? Obviously I won't be watching his programs any more, given such low news value. I have written CNN to tell them as much.

|I love it. Gee, I saw this nice man riding a bike then the next thing I know I see him lying in the road, but golly gee whiz Mr. Traffic court judge, I had no idea I hit him.
Yeah right. If I run over a empty coke can in the road with my car, I can hear it and feel it. Sure he didn't hear or feel the impact or the guys bike dragging under his car for two block while he was swerving traffic and running red lights.
Maybe this guy should do Cadillac commercials. "My Cadillac is so smooth and quiet, that I can run down bike messengers and pedestrians and I don't feel or hear anything. What a dream machine."
What a frickin' joke is right.
