what you see is a guage built in to measure power output. Very nice. Many pros train with these.

The bikes a "steal" if you grab the buy it now option before someone bids. Probably stolen. Maybe a pawn shop who doesn't know the true value.

Just curious why you think it's stolen? The cranks can be found here no idea. I'm just running my mouth again.
A pawn shop is selling it.......Dave Hickey

If someone did lose this bike, its tragic.

"If you ride--and I suspect you do--then you know how much some of us sacrifice to buy our rides. Please, please, please get the serial number from the seller and find out if this bike has been reported stolen before finishing the transaction. (You know its the right thing to do.)

Lets just hope that if it is stolen, the owner isn't a wealthy poseur with 5 others in his garage. (Though, I supose even that doesn't make stealing proper.)

1) pawn shop selling TOP END bicycle

2) the seat is lowered all the way. The 'perp' who nabbed it knows nothing of clipless pedals and lowered the seat to make it rideable.

Not to mention the SRM system alone is worth $1800. Very sad. Perhaps I should email the police in Ft Worth with that auction info. If its stolen it would be pretty easy to track down & the rightful owner may have a claim against the pawn shop. Very sad.
I would email themgildomilo

and explain how much the bike is actually worth. Maybe the police are looking for this very bike.
I just sent an email to a large Giant dealerDave Hickey

I asked them if any of their customers have reported their bike stolen. Fort Worth Cycling and Fitness is one of the only Giant dealers in the area.

I emailed the local police with a link to the auction. Hopefully its legit & some lucky buyer got an incredible deal. But that doesn't seem likely.
Such an informative description- notoff roadie

Completely neglects to mention the FRAME SIZE! {The refrence to "cup holders" is a cute touch- will they handle my big gulp and frosty shake?}

Lack of frame size info seems a common theme in e-bay bike auctions, and makes me think a majority of them are stollen goods. After all, anybody who has ever bought a bike worth more than $400 should know that the frame size is CRUCIAL information for a prospective buyer, even if they don't know what to say about any of the other componants.

bought a GT frame of of and when he received it and went to register it with the police department he found that the frame had no serial number..... Sketchy sketchy sales go on online. Maybe the person who bought the bike will be reselling all the parts like a chop shop.
