Help: 1986 3Rensho SRA framerensho

I'm looking for pricing info for a frame and fork, DA AX aero shifter in good/very good cond.

No rust, paint is very good shape with a few scratches. Decals are flaking here and there. Any idea how much something like this is worth?

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Those are cool frames but how many people know about them anymore? If you need to get rid of it I'd probably just put it on eBay with no reserve and see what happens. Out of curiosity, what size?

A Katana, successor to the SRA. Bought in 1987 direct from the factory, at that time in Kashiwa, Japan. I was teaching English in Japan. I rode with their club from 86-88, so I rode withthe builders every Sunday. Brand new in Japan at that time they were (I think) JPY130,000, about $1000; frame only. Hand brazed, with hand filed lugs and completely chromed under the paint. I still have mine, but sadly it is in need of some TLC. It has thousands of miles and even survived being driven into the garage by my wife. Tubing is custom heat-treated Ishiwata, a company long out of business. I have a complete set of decals and will re-paint and restore with period Dura Ace.

If you must sell it, put it on e-bay and see what happens. IMHO, it is worth hanging on to.

Peace!
