|A week or so ago I posted a grumble about lack of response from Rivendell (uncharacteristic, in my experience) about a wheel problem. Turns out the guy I was e-mailing is on vacation--I got a new guy today, who took my word on the wheel over the phone and offered to send me a new one free.
Karma: When I was trying to build my Atlantis as cheaply as possible, with parts from the bin, they were really patient and helpful. I'm in a better situation now, and the wheel has some miles on it. I told 'em to forget it; I'd take care of it locally. But I wanted to acknowledge that they took care of my complaint.
