Leg warmer inside or outside bike shorts?(9 posts)

Leg warmer inside or outside bike shorts?Sandbox
Aug 2, 2003 2:16 AM
Just got a pair of leg warmers but they keep slipping of my bike shorts while I ride. Am I suppose to wear it inside or outside of the bike shorts?

And is it suppose to go all the way up to the top of my leg?

never heard of leg warmer`s going on the outside
most quality warmer`s have grippers on the inside to grip onto your legs. They should fit sort of mid way up under your shorts. make sure they are not to tight or they can become very uncomfortable.
Where the heck are you that you need leg warmers now? nmLive Steam

Those of us in the high country can still need them in the early hours at altitude or at risk of storms. I can safely say that I've used leg warmers in all 12 months of the year in the right circumstances!
There is a Southern Hemisphere too y'know (nm)kiwi lad

In the Southern Hemisphere, it is Winter, because in the Northern Hemisphere it is Summer...

Am I the only one here that watches Discovery Channel? ;o)

Btw, leg and arm warmers are warn underneath your shorts/jersey respectively. If I find I am wearing warmers for most of my rides, I tend to wear long sleeve jerseys and long knicks. Saves the hassle of warmers falling down during riding.

Probikekit has some winter kits on sale... yes, they recognise that Australia and New Zealand exist, and have dedicated portals.
Does that mean Christmas is in June??? (nm)Sprint-Nick
