Jul 31, 2003 5:42 PM | | Start with simple maintenance tasks and work your way up to "building a bike." Per Alexx's comment, if you need to ask this sort of simple question, you're in over your head. BTW, I like Slick50 One Grease for all threads and metal:metal contact surfaces. However, there are other good greases as well. For chain lube, I use ProLink, and for other oil needs, I use a 20w electric motor oil I get at my local hardware store (not full of detergents and additives like motor oil). |
