A past friend of mine walked into Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro AL back in August of 96. That is the famous place that sells all the airlines unclaimed and lost baggage. It is about an hour from here. He was an avid triathlete. Well, he walked in one day and lo and behold were two complete built up Lotus's with that same frame. They were both built up as track bikes. He immediately threw down his credit card and walked out with them for just over $2000 total. He eventually sold one for just over $2000 so he got a free one basically..oh, the bikes had the name Francis Moreau nicely painted on both of them, a team member of the French Olympic cycling team...the stupid airlines obviously did not look too hard to get them back..any cyclist could have looked at them immediately and told them who they belonged to .

dont know if you caught the date reference, that was immediately after the summer olympics in atlanta...so the bikes had been there in atlanta or got lost enroute to atlanta...
