specifically a junior 17-18 age group? there is a group race a time trial and a crit race to be held that are mostly flat

There are too many variables to come up with meaningful averages-
and they'll probably only serve to discourage you, if you couldbill

locate some kind of average -- if you want to race, please do yourself a huge favor and just go and do it. Really. Nothing compares to it, in the sense that you don't know what you are capable of by anything short of racing. You will surprise yourself, I promise.

If you want to be just average you will not win in anything.
Your average speed will range from 0-50 mph. 0 mph at the start line and up to 50 mph on the downhills.

But it is mostly flat you say. Where its flat its usually very windy. Your clue is to look at the historical Time Trial times on the course, these are "true" average times for a given distance.
