|What are the main advantages of bib shorts over regular? I'm looking at the PI ultrasensors in particular.
Thanks in advance

|I will only wear bib shorts. I can remember being in your situation, and I just decided to go buy a pair and see which I liked. Obviously, the bib shorts were best for me. With bibs, you eliminate any tight feeling around your waist. You also eliminate any problems of the shorts slipping down of sticking out in the back.
The only down side might be that some say they are a little hotter with more material up top, (it's all coolmax, so its not noticeable).
I swear by them, but again, it's personal preference. Don't be afraid to give 'em a shot.

|I switched to bib shorts over regular shorts a week ago and I'm happy with my decision. I no longer feel constricted around my waist with bib shorts.|

|If you suffer from Dunlop's (belly done lopped over the top of shorts) disease, bibs are the only way to go:-)|

|I have a friend that is a long-torso kinda guy. He claims that he can't wear bibs 'cause they end up trying to cut him in two.
So, if you're built like a gorilla, stick with the regular shorts. If not, then try a pair of bibs. Be prepared to replace all of your regular shorts!

|I have a 34" pants inseam, ride a 58cm frame amd am 6'4" All chest and back (my masseuse gives me grief about the size of my back). I almays feared that would be true with bibs and have stayed away. Will continue to until they make "tall" sized bibs.|

|Even my quality shorts tend to sag and lose their ability to fit to my form. Pretty soon there is only lycra where we really need there to be tight fitting chamois! (I think you get the image)
Whereas my bibs (Louis Garneau) never sag and the chamois is right where we like it. It's just like how your pants won't sag if you're wearing suspenders.
|Thanks for all the info. I'm off to my LBS for some bibs!(nm)||koride|
