this evening Armstrong won the Grazer Altstadt Kriterium in Austria ahead of Bernhard Eisel and Rene Haselbacher.
(from cycling news). The guy is insane.

And he will race Ullrich again: The Championship of Zurich World Cup race on August 17 will see Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong come up against Jan Ullrich again in this tough, hilly one day classic. The organisers announced that both riders would be present, along with Quick.Step's Paolo Bettini (world number one) and Tour King of the Mountains winner Richard Virenque, Oscar Freire (Rabobank) and Oscar Camenzind (Phonak), both of whom have won World Championships in the past.

I was always under the impression that the outcome of these post-tour criteriums were decided before the race begins. Aren't they organized as a chance for the Tour stars to be shown off to those who don't get to see the race in person?
