I am looking at getting a Heart Rate Monitor to help with training. I have found one at BikeNashbar for ~$50, the dBase DB-500. I looked in the reviews section and did not see it listed. Anyone out there use this and have any opinions? Any others that you would recommend in the $50-$75 price range?

I bought a low end cardiosport around 1995. I used it very little and the transmitter died on me probably 2-3 years later. I know 3 years is a long time, but I probably didn't use it more than 20 times. Also, the polar was thinner than the cardiosport, but you could replace the batteries yourself in the cardiosport.
