|OK, got back from a group ride tonight and was curious as to my performance compared to everyone else on here. Not looking for a pat on the back or blowing my own horn. We rode 43 miles at a 17.2 pace. Good? Bad? Mediocre?
It was in northwestern New Joisey with lots of rolling hills.

|I'm trying to understand the point of the question. Isn't it enough if you had fun?
And saying that you aren't looking for a "pat on the back" or "blowing your own horn" makes me assume that you know that that's a very respectable pace for a club ride. You could probably ride a 6 hour century.
Don't worry about what others think. Just have fun.

|Don't know. I do know that you will have a better reference for the future if you just write down THREE things describing your ride: distance, time, terrain (hills, flat)
Okay, FOUR things-group or solo
Okay, okay FIVE things- people go faster if you HALF WHEEL 'em!!
