OK, got back from a group ride tonight and was curious as to my performance compared to everyone else on here. Not looking for a pat on the back or blowing my own horn. We rode 43 miles at a 17.2 pace. Good? Bad? Mediocre?

It was in northwestern New Joisey with lots of rolling hills.

I'm trying to understand the point of the question. Isn't it enough if you had fun?

And saying that you aren't looking for a "pat on the back" or "blowing your own horn" makes me assume that you know that that's a very respectable pace for a club ride. You could probably ride a 6 hour century.

Don't worry about what others think. Just have fun.

Don't know. I do know that you will have a better reference for the future if you just write down THREE things describing your ride: distance, time, terrain (hills, flat)
Okay, FOUR things-group or solo
Okay, okay FIVE things- people go faster if you HALF WHEEL 'em!!
