ATTN: Rudy Project Ekynox Owners- Regular or SX?globalhelipimp

I've been looking at the Ekynox, and am trying to decide
between the regular or SX. My last pair of sunglasses were
the Nike Interchanges, and they seemed to fit pretty well.

How'd you decide between the regulars or the SX's?

Try before you buy? eBay has been tempting lately ...

Are you pleased with them? Ever tried Oakleys?

Thanks,
Dave

I've got both Ekynoxs...the regular and the new, smaller SX. I prefer the SX.

I bought mine on Ebay a couple months ago and recently bought a set of the Racing Red and clear lenses for evening MTB'ing and night riding. I also have a pair of RP Graals for everyday wearing...all Rudy's are great!

I used to be a huge Oakley wearer, but found the lenses scratched way, way too easily. Plus, there's the price. I've been very happy with all of my Rudy's.

I have a pretty big noggin. I got the racing blue lenses and I've been quite happy with them despite some scratches. Aren't they warrantied against scratches?
They are more durable to scratches, but they still happen...SS_MB-7

They are a lot more durable to scratches than any of my previous Oakleys, but they still happen to my Rudys. Check-out Rudy's Lense Replacement Guarantee (RLG) for details....in short, send your scratched/damaged lenses back to Rudy along with $15 and they'll send you a new set of lenses.

Take a pair of reading glasses or another pair of sunglasses that you think fit well. Measure the liner distance between the temples. Then go to e-rudy.com where you will find the temple measurements for each pair of glasses. Pick the frame that is closest to your temple size. If I recall I measure about 135cm and then got a pair of the SX...they fit fine...
