|5500 vs. 5900||Slow|

|I'm considering purchasing one or the other. Does anyone know if the Trek 5500 is stronger or stiffer than the 5900 given that it is constructed out of more material? I weigh about 200 (6'3") so I am concerned about flex.
Thanks for the help!

|You got it.. the difference is that the 5900 is a Carbon 110 frame and the 5500 is the Carbon 120 frame. The Carbon 120 frame is slightly heavier, but it is also marginally stiffer too. But I would certainly test ride them both first and that way you can see if the 5900 is flexy for you or not. But the only difference between the two is that the 5900 is the lighter frame, it has Race X Lite wheels instead of just the Race Lites, and has a better bar and stem and a Thompson post and nicer seat. (That's all according to Trek's website..)
And the 5900 is the USPS paint, the 5500 comes in Red or USPS.
