Fess-up! Who has a PW jersey collecting dust in the closet?Spoiler

Freds have too much class to wear that garbage. Besides, Primal Wear is for mountainbikers. A roadie wearing that stuff would be like wearing a full Domino-Vacanze road kit on a mountainbike ride.

All PW jerseys look like competitors for the Loudest Garment Ever Produced contest, something an 11-year-old would really get a kick out of.

One is a jungle print and mostly green, while the other is read and black with small multi-colored butterflies on it. I'm certainly not going to turn my nose up at a well-made jersey that's on sale just because of the brand name, nor am I going to buy some ugly plain blue jersey just because Pearl Izumi makes it.
Honestly....get a grip....
I admit it!tarwheel

I've got a Primal jersey that looks like it's designed for a NASCAR frog race. Orange and blue, with a big tree frog in the middle and checkered flags. It's kind of cool in a wierd way. I bought it because it was on sale cheap and I wear it every now and then. It's a very comfortable, well-made jersey. Most of their designs are a little too over-the-top for me, like art work on heavy metal rock albums.
Too expensive! (nm)Jeff Rage

My friends gave me one for a present last year, and I like it. It is bright yellow with a green snake wrapping around my body. I think it's funky and fun. But, who the hell cares? I figure it just makes me more visible.

What is deal with this!?joekm

I think they are kinda neat. Is it just that they are too commonplace? Why do I constantly hear that these specific jerseys are FRED? I mean other companies make jersies with graphic art on them as well.

...just wondering....
What is deal with this!?fractured

Well, if you look really close, you'll find that about 20% of the jersey's out there actually have the word "Fred" hidden on them. It really is an insider conspiracy, and I wasn't supposed to tell you this... shhhhh.
They're so Fred even Fred's won't wear them!!! nmpnitefly

A friend of mine has a bunch of them and rides both road and
mountain. He got into them when he was way into the MTB thing
and still uses them. I don't care since jerseys are pricey
anyway and I know there's fashion rules but sometimes you just
gotta wear that ONCE team kit on an MTB ride. Oop.
