|Seriously, there's probably a real market for bikes like this in Belgium, Netherlands and other parts of Europe where people actually use bikes for transportation rather than recreation. I was in Ireland earlier this summer and saw only one group of roadies in two weeks. Everyone else was riding hybrids, mountain and city bikes. I talked to a couple from Belgium and asked them about Eddy Merckx bikes and they said something like: "Those are very expensive, for racers!"|
