It doesn't list the year, but with the suntour shifters and what appears to be cantilever brakes I'm guessing it is somewhat older. I can't even tell if this is a 1 1/8 inch threadless headset?
$1200 seem a little steep? Would that be accurate?
(I posted a few days ago about another tandem too - I set up links to the other classifieds you all recommended and will keep an eye out. Thank you all).

|That's about 50% of new replacement cost for that bike, and it has to be pretty old because it still has Suntour shifters. I'm thinking 1" headset for the same reason. I'd say that $800 - $900 would be a fair price.|

|Be patient and you'll find a good buy. I bought a Santana Rio (they no longer make a model by that name but make an equivalent) which is basically XT level Shimano stuff with a quality steel frame. It had two forks, a downhill suspension fork for off road riding and the regular steel rigid fork for everything else. It was in MINT condition and I paid $1200. I think I got a pretty good buy and I got it off the classifieds here.|| |
