I built up my new DeRosa King on Friday and got to ride it this weekend. First, the build details: Dura ace ( incl. pedals and flight deck), Easton carbon seatpost and oversize bars, Time carbon stem, flite saddle, and Ksyrium SL wheels. It weighed in at 17.25lbs including the pedals and flight deck. I left the fork steerer long because I wasn't sure about the bar height with the compact geometry. Seems like I might have to take the 5mm spacer out, the bars seem high to me. Now the ride: light, very responsive and stiff in the BB. The road seems to disappear under the bike. Very nice.

But the frame was a warranty replacement (for a Planet). I took most of the parts off the old bike. New bars and stem from ebay, so the total was a little over $1.5k (plus the cost of the original Planet).
My friend has one too!
